“The wife and I took an excursion to try our hand at ice fishing. Our host was Noah and he showed us the ropes. He was helpful baiting our fishing rods and unhooking our catch. The cabin was warm and comfortable, and we had a total of 8 people during our time. Everyone caught fish, with rainbow trout, and small salmon as the main species. Noah also grilled for reindeer sausages and our fish catch. The grilled fish couldn't have been any fresher and was excellent. We highly recommend this excursion!”

“We booked this tour last minute because our Chena Hot Springs tour was canceled due to a blizzard. We were a bit worried if they’ll be able to accommodate us, but Joy was simply amazing! She coordinated with us and arranged the transfer. Our guide David was knowledgeable about the aurora and took great pictures of us! The cabin itself was very comfortable. It was packed with snacks. David also baked a pizza for us!! As there was a blizzard in the area that afternoon, there were lingering clouds. So, we had to wait in the cabin for almost 3 hours to see the aurora. “Michi was great! He is very knowledgeable and nice. He really wants you to see the lights. It unfortunately didn't happen on our trip. The clouds didnt cooperate. The lodge is very nice, clean. There is a nice deck to go out on. I would recommend this excursion even tho the auroras didn't work out for us.”

“Weather forecast called for a very high chance for rain the night our tour was scheduled. I called the tour company and ask if they were going to cancel the tour due to weather. They said no. So, I was stuck - If I cancelled at this point, I would not get my money back. They had no option to go another night. So we went and saw clouds and rain for $300. Apparently there are tour companies that allow you to switch nights at the last minute - I would pick one of them. Would not recommend this tour company.”

“Carol and I booked this tour because we had a free night to fill. We had no idea that it would be the greatest tour of our Fairbanks vacation. Mike picked us up punctually, and we were pleasantly surprised that the tour group would be small (a rarity)! The two hour drive to the lodge went by relatively fast. “Not really meant for kids. It is a late night. It read they have lounge chairs. They do not. However, they are nicely padded ones. Other chairs were like dining room chairs. We were lucky and got in first and saved a padded chair by the windows. Our guide did not give much instruction or discussion. She did let us know when we should go outside, which was nice. Snacks were plentiful. It was a nice place to stay and relax while waiting for the lights to come out. I would recommend and I would do it again.”
