Small-group Fairbanks tour to Chena Hot Springs with Aurora Ice Museum, mineral hot springs, and guided aurora viewing with pickup.

“We planned our trip to Fairbanks in order to see the northern lights. As the time came near it was apparent that it was too cloudy. We did the chena hot springs tour and enjoyed the dinner (a bit pricey but a good value) and the ice museum was a kick. The hot spring pool was wonderful, welcoming accommodations and a large open outdoor pool, with nice atmosphere lighting (green red and blue lights). What made this excursion next level was our guide Shannon. As we returned to Fairbanks it continued to be overcast but she was determined to get us to experience the Northern lights. Twice she had found…”

“This aurora tour was absolutely outstanding. The guides are incredibly responsible, patient, and highly professional. They truly care about every guest and made sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the night. What impressed me most was their expertise in predicting the aurora. Using their own experience and proven methods, they accurately judged the timing of the aurora’s appearance—and it worked! We were able to see the northern lights beautifully. They also thoughtfully prepared snacks, water, and hand warmers for all guests, which made a huge difference in the cold. On top of that, they took professional photos for us with high-quality cameras, so we could fully...”

“David was a nice polite photographer and our van driver. Only me and my wife were in the SUV so we got plenty of time for photographers and we were really lucky to just see the Aurora right out of the gate in the first location he took us to. We decided to come back soon since we'd already gotten a glimpse of the lights throughout and we were really tired. But lucky for us we got an even brighter display of the lights on our way back and David was quick to pull over and capture them some more for us”

“We booked this tour last minute because our Chena Hot Springs tour was canceled due to a blizzard. We were a bit worried if they’ll be able to accommodate us, but Joy was simply amazing! She coordinated with us and arranged the transfer. Our guide David was knowledgeable about the aurora and took great pictures of us! The cabin itself was very comfortable. It was packed with snacks. David also baked a pizza for us!! As there was a blizzard in the area that afternoon, there were lingering clouds. So, we had to wait in the cabin for almost 3 hours to see the aurora. But when we saw that,…”

“Weather forecast called for a very high chance for rain the night our tour was scheduled. I called the tour company and ask if they were going to cancel the tour due to weather. They said no. So, I was stuck - If I cancelled at this point, I would not get my money back. They had no option to go another night. So we went and saw clouds and rain for $300. Apparently there are tour companies that allow you to switch nights at the last minute - I would pick one of them. Would not recommend this tour company.”

“I tried two other aurora viewing tours prior this one, same week, and definitely Nathan makes it a whole experience. This was in my bucket list since I was 12yo and he knows that a lot of people is chasing lights as a bucket list. So he worked hard to make it everyone’s comfortable, warm, gave good info about aurora. As soon as you get into the van you can tell he is a profesional and that he loves what he does. Maybe you don’t think about details cause your only focus in aurora. But it makes a BIG DIFFERENCE when you are chasing for hours mix with low temperatures.…”
