“The wife and I took an excursion to try our hand at ice fishing. Our host was Noah and he showed us the ropes. He was helpful baiting our fishing rods and unhooking our catch. The cabin was warm and comfortable, and we had a total of 8 people during our time. Everyone caught fish, with rainbow trout, and small salmon as the main species. Noah also grilled for reindeer sausages and our fish catch. The grilled fish couldn't have been any fresher and was excellent. We highly recommend this excursion!”

“Definitely a fun experience if you want to see the lights and have something to occupy your time while waiting for them to appear. The cabin stayed nice and warm and the guide was sure to let us know when to pop outside and see the peaking lights. Our group caught king salmon which we had the option to have prepared. Reindeer sausage sandwiches were also provided and they were phenomenal. It was around -5 the night we went and from inside the cabin you would have no idea it was that cold out!”

“We are giving only 3 stars because this trip wasn’t what we expected for an 8 hour day of fishing. Firstly, it is catch and release, so nothing to take home after fishing all day. Secondly, it is advertised as lunch is provided, but it was basically a child’s size lunchable and one bottle of water-this would have been fine for a half day trip, but not all day. That being said, our guide Caleb was great! Knowledgeable and very personable. We enjoyed having him as our guide and the scenery was beautiful as well. These trips would be much better if you were able to take fish home with…”

“The event was supposed to last 7 hours, which included travel and knocked it down to 5 hours but the guide took our poles away after four hours so we spent the last hour just sitting there. Also, the cabin was nice but we were packed in there. Twelve people to a cabin plus the guides. The guide also kept trying to up sell us on other tours and had a bit of an attitude.”
